"A Leaf In The Wind" (subtitled "Hush! You'll Wake The Other Kids") is an autobiographical perspective on Seattle's Gay Movement in the early 1970's.

This story is a work in progress and will be updated from time to time as it is refined.  I published this story in its first draft form, because, although I am in good health, that does not guarantee continued life and I wanted at least part of my story to be known.

(Epilogue added September 20, 2009)

The personal is the political.

This work is dedicated to the memory of Melba Windoffer, for had I never been graced by her presence, my life would have taken a different course and this story may have never been told.
