"A Leaf In The Wind" (subtitled "Hush! You'll Wake The Other Kids") is an autobiographical narrative which chronicles the journey from an idyllic and sheltered childhood to a self-styled iconoclast. This story includes some personal perspectives on Seattle's Gay Movement in the early 1970's.

This story is a work in progress and will be updated from time to time as it is refined.  I published this story in its first draft form, because, although I am in good health, that does not guarantee continued life and I wanted at least part of my story to be known.

This work is dedicated to the memory of Melba Windoffer, for had I never been graced by her presence, my life would have taken a different course and this story may have never been told.
